We are SHIPPING. We will not be answering emails until we are done shipping. All Kickstarter PenSe's are assembled. Hang on it there pencil poppers, we are working late bagging and tagging we will continue to bag tag and ship until we are done.

Backers, PenSe's have been mailing all this week about half of all kickstarter orders will have shipped this week, and the remainder should ship Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. We have not been emailing tracking as we ship but will try to do so in mass this weekend.

Kickstarter orders have been assembled, all colors except space gray will be shipped no later than monday. Space gray is the last batch from the anodizers. SpaceGray should mail mid week between Wednesday and Friday. if your in the USA and ordered a non space gray PenSe you should expect your order to arrive in the mail this week. Space Gray to arrive the following week. International orders should take about 2 weeks in transit.
We are focusing on getting all the orders out. So, our response time on emails might not be great. We are reading emails, emails regarding address changes, addresses are being updated, but not always replied to immediately.
Our focus is to get all your PenSe orders built engraved and mailed asap, constructing them well is a big focus and every mailed unit will pass through a final quality control by someone who didn't assemble it... (which means Ted checking (my) Craig's builds and Craig checking Ted's builds).
Additionally for any one who ordered an engraved Silver PenSe, please view video above. We had originally thought the best option was to CerMark all Silver engraved Pense's but after test cutting Silver without CerMark (black ceramic process) we believe that just laser cutting without CerMark looks better producing a white text on silver anodize like Apple's iPod. We think this is the best choice, but if you strongly disagree you can let us know.
PenSe.io is PenSe's new site, assembly and other info will be found at www.PenSe.io during the next week. Certain animated aspects of the site are not working fully on Safari browsers, for best experience use google chrome until we are able to fix. (after mailing PenSe orders).
A following Update with counts on colors mailed, we should be able to mail out all Kickstarter ordered PenSe colors including GREEN, PINK, RED, PURPLE, BLUE, SILVER & GOLD on or by Monday.

Good news everyone!
1,000 PenSes have been cut, anodized, and are ready for assembly. We’ll be working hard this week to assemble and ship to everyone who backed our Kickstarter campaign. Again, we wanted to thank you for your patience, and thank you for taking this crazy ride with us. We’ve worked wicked hard, and learned a ton from this experience.
Here’s a list of what we have done, and what we still need to finish in order to get PenSe into your hands.

On Friday September 16th our initial 1000 PenSe bodies where picked up and deliver to plater, Dav-Tech. Revised adapter caps and tip caps are both wrapping up on the machines and we are locked in to to begin shipping this coming week.
PenSe Web site PenSe.io is now live (full page animations and parallax scrolling is currently working best on Google Chrome Browser) but products will not be made available until your orders ship.
PenSe Stylus has undergone some revisions as well (something we have not discussed in recent updates).
New Disk Tip design is a big improvement over ball point (Jot Tip) format .
The new mounting design is far more durable while no less precise.
We are still using the clear and accurate disk tip, the stylus has been improved in how this tip mounts, this design is nearly impossible to break.
We believe you will all be very happy with the PenSe stylus, while not the main attraction it is a pleasure to use. Slightly shorter than Apple Pencil PenSe's solid Aluminum stylus is Made in America, manufactured and designed all in Massachusetts.
Laser Engraving
It has been our goal to keep production as local as possible, and our laser engraving was arranged to be done by "Danger! Awesome" , a laser cutting work space located in Central Square, Cambridge MA (Between Harvard and MIT). But they have recently closed shop, a sad turn for the community. Luckily less than 20 yards from our current working/prototyping offices at Artisan's Asylum in Somerville a new company "Black Cat Labs" blackcatlabs.co has formed and is staffed by two of the more talented artisans from "Danger! Awesome". So laser engraving is proceeding as planned and we will host a video of your PenSe's being engraved shortly.
With all machining and anodizing nearly finished, we will be able to ship all Kickstarter orders begin next week and wrap up by mid October. We will be locking in your addresses and printing postage Monday. SO Please, make sure your surveys are completed with any and all addresses updated over the weekend. If you need to change something in your survey let us know ASAP. Otherwise come Monday all addresses will be finalized and postage we will begin printing postage.
